From the recording 20WHAT?
One of the first songs I wrote and like all songs on this EP, this was a cry for help, a way to get out of what I was going through and a way to see the hope that is meant for me, for you, for all of us! There's a place somewhere beyond all our troubles, where our story is a testimony of how we pulled through. I was singing of that place. Here I feature a South African vocalist whose journey I've watched evolve over the years, more so in recent years since I moved to Hong Kong. Lui, I'm grateful our journeys have come full circle and we could make this piece together. Thank you for your soulful tone here. I can't think of a voice better fitting. the guitars are played here by my good friend and uncle, Theo Klassen, a soulful guitarist friend I've worked with over the years near and far. I'm grateful for you sir.
